Pecan Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 2 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Form dough into small round balls and bake.
    Lift the balls from the baking sheet and roll in confectioners sugar until heavily coated.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 30 minutes, then increase temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake for 10 minutes.
    Amount: 4 dozen.
