Cold Water Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sifted flour
    dash of salt
    1 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. cold water
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, eggs and shortening, then sift the flour, salt, cocoa and soda into the cream mixture with the water.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 3 layers or 2 loaf cakes.
