Peach Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. ripe peaches, cut up very small
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine peaches and 1 cup sugar in saucepan, mix well and cook 5 minutes.
    Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cook 15 minutes longer.
    Put into hot sterilized jar and seal.
