Attebery Cream Pie(This Is My Grandmother Attebery'S Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk, scalded
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. cold milk
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla and cold milk. Pouring scalded milk, stir constantly until thick. Remove from heat, then pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in oven at 300\u00b0 until done. Serve with whipped topping on top or Cool Whip if you like.
