Microwave Cheese Burger Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (5 oz.) pkg. instant mashed potato flakes (2 1/4 c.)
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. onion flakes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 slices American cheese
    1 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, 1 cup instant potato flakes, 1 cup milk, egg, catsup, onion, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Spread into a 9-inch glass pie plate.
    Cover with wax paper.
    Heat 16 minutes, giving dish 1/4 turn every 4 minutes.
    Arrange 2 slices cheese on top.
    Cover for 10 minutes.
