Grandma Freemon'S Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. bread broken in pieces
2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs (may be Egg Beaters)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat eggs until mixed, then add sugar, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg.
Stir in milk and mix well.
Put bread pieces in bowl and pour milk mixture over bread.
Bake about 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
It is done when knife comes out of center clean.
It will puff up but will go down when out of the oven.
Serve with caramel sauce over the top.
