Kolaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. lukewarm milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; stir in milk, sugar, shortening, egg and 2 cups flour.
    Mix in enough of the remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
    Knead until smooth and elastic.
    Place in greased bowl, turn greased side up, cover and let rise until double (1 1/2 hours).
