N. Y. Stuffed Strip Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (2-inch) strip steaks
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. raw oysters
    fresh herbs
Preparation
    Make a pocket in each steak, quite deep.
    Season oysters; salt, pepper, parsley and your choice, i.e., Italian parsley, basil, touch of thyme or sage.
    Sew up pockets.
    Roast in a hot 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes for very rare, longer for more done.
    Check.
    Slice to serve.
    Serves 4.
