Oyster Soup - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 (8 oz. each) jars oysters *
3 (13 3/4 oz. each) cans chicken
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. coarsely chopped flat leaf parsley
1 1/2 c. green onions, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. cayenne
