Spicy Cranberry Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 well beaten eggs
2/3 c. milk
1/3 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 c. fresh cranberries
1 c. whole wheat cereal flakes
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Sift together the first 6 ingredients.
Stir in the nuts.
Set aside.
Combine the eggs, milk and cooking oil; add all at once to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Fold in cranberries (chopped) and cereal flakes.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Combine 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon; sprinkle atop.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Makes 18.
