Chocolate Drizzle Cherry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. quick oats
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. soft butter
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl combine flour, oats, sugar and butter.
    Beat at low until mixture is crumbly.
    Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture.
    Press remaining mixture in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bake for 15 minutes or until mixture is lightly browned.
