Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    1/2 c. white syrup
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water and syrup, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils.
    Remove from heat when it forms a hard ball in cold water.
    Slowly pour syrup over salted, stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Continue beating until candy holds its shape when dropped from spoon.
    Mix in vanilla.
    Turn onto greased pan and cut into squares.
