Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. carrots, grated
    1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Add water to syrup to make 1 1/4 cups.
    Heat to a boil.
    Add Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
    Add sugar, salt and lemon juice.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Add pineapple and carrots.
    Fold whipped cream into Jell-O mixture.
    Mold in 12 x 7-inch dish.
    Better if made the day before you serve it. Serves 8 to 10.
