Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. black walnuts or pecans (I prefer black walnuts)
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream sugar, salt and butter well.
    Add vanilla.
    Gradually stir flour into creamed ingredients.
    Work nuts into dough. Chill well.
    Form into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in hot oven (about 400\u00b0) for 8 to 10 minutes, until set but not brown.
    Remove from oven and roll quickly in powdered sugar.
    Cool and roll again.
