Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. raw potatoes, sliced thin
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. salt
    4 or 5 parsley tops, minced
Preparation
    Add potatoes and onions and just enough water to cover.
    Cook in a covered pot for 15 minutes.
    Drain; and keep 1 1/2 cups of potato water.
    Mash potatoes.
    Add butter, milk potato water, salt and parsley.
    If a thinner soup is desired, add more water.
