Cabbage Slaw To Freeze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, celery and pepper.
    Sprinkle salt over it and let stand until juicy.
    Put sugar, vinegar, water and mustard seed in saucepan and bring to a full boil.
    Drain vegetables and pour cooled brine over slaw.
    Put into containers and freeze.
    Will keep for 1 year.
    Leftovers can be refrozen.
