Wild Rice Whatsis - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. uncooked wild rice
1 or 2 cans green beans
1 or 1 1/2 onions, chopped
2 or 3 celery stalks, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 lb. bacon, chopped and fried (optional) or 1 to 2 c. leftover turkey nibbles
1 can water chestnuts (optional)
Preparation

Cook wild rice with the juice of the beans and enough water to make up 3 1/2 cups.
After rice has cooked 20 to 30 minutes, add onions and celery.
When vegetables are almost done, stir in green beans, mushroom soup (and meat and water chestnuts).
Bring to boil again and serve.
Serves 4.
