Prune, Date Or Raisin And Nut Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. milk or buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
    1 c. sliced dates, raisins or soaked prunes
Preparation
    Beat the eggs until light, then add the sugar and beat until thick.
    Add the milk.
    Mix dry ingredients and toss the nuts and fruit in, combine liquids.
    If needed, add 1 or 2 spoons of milk to soften.
    Oil a large bread pan or two small ones.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Small pans may take 10 minutes less.
