*Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. meat (pork or beef)
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. soup stock or water
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    2 Tbsp. flour
    mushrooms (if desired)
Preparation
    Fry meat, then add soup stock or water, 1 tablespoon of the soy sauce and vegetables.
    Cook for 10 minutes.
    Make paste of remaining soy sauce, molasses and flour.
    Add to mixture in skillet; stir.
    Cook 5 minutes longer.
    Serve with rice or chow mein noodles.
