Karo Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 heaping Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. sugar
    1/3 white Karo
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy skillet.
    Add cocoa to butter.
    Add sugar, Karo and milk.
    Cook slowly and stir often until it will make soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Heat until slick and loses its gloss.
    Pour into buttered pan and mark into squares.
