Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 lb. sirloin pot roast (boneless)
    7 or 8 potatoes or enough to go around meat
    4 or 5 carrots
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt
    pepper
    3 Tbsp. flour (for gravy)
Preparation
    Put salt and pepper on roast; dust with flour and brown in 3 tablespoons oil.
    Take out and put in a big roast pan.
    Put potatoes, cut in quarters around roast.
    Add carrots cut in about 1-inch pieces.
    In pan where meat was browned, add 3 tablespoons flour, salt and pepper and brown.
    Add enough water to make a thin gravy.
    Add chopped onions and Worcestershire sauce.
    Pour over roast and potatoes and carrots.
    Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 3 hours.
