Mexican Wedding Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, room temperature
    3/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    extra 10x sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
    With a spoon, blend in flour.
    Add nuts; shape into 3/4-inch balls, rolling in palm of hand.
    Place 1/2-inch apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 300\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until cookies are creamy color.
    Remove to rack until just warm.
    Roll in a little confectioners sugar.
    Cool entirely and roll again in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 3 1/2 dozen. Store in tightly covered container.
