Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup shortening
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/3 cup cocoa
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 large package marshmallows
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Beat in eggs by hand.
    Sift flour, cocoa and salt together.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into a greased and floured oblong cake pan.
    Bake for 25 minutes in a 300\u00b0 oven.
    Sprinkle cake with rows of marshmallows.
    Increase oven to 350\u00b0 and bake for 10 minutes longer, cool cake completely.
