Pecan Pie Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. lite corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
3/4 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Sift together flour, 1/2 brown sugar and butter.
Mix in butter with your hands until a ball of dough is formed.
Pat dough into 9 x 9-inch greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 4 minutes. Beat eggs.
Add corn syrup, 1/2 cup brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt.
Stir in pecans.
Pour over dough.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
