Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 onion, diced
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. Mazola oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Layer the cabbage, green pepper and onion. Add the sugar and let stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
    Bring to a boil the oil and vinegar.
    Pour over the cabbage mix while very hot.
    Let stand in refrigerator for at least 2 hours, then mix. The longer it stands, the more crisp it gets.
