Broccoli Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli
    1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. milk
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 c. chopped peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil.
    Add broccoli and onion.
    Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender; do not drain.
    Stir in soup, milk, cheese and red pepper.
    Cook and stir about 4 minutes or until heated through.
    Pass peanuts to sprinkle on top of soup, if desired.
    Makes 4 or 5 servings.
