Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. elbow noodles
    1 small onion, cut
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. ground white pepper
    2 c. milk
    1/2 lb. pasteurized spread
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0; melt two tablespoons margarine over low heat; add onion and cook until tender.
    Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper.
    Slowly stir in milk, stirring until thick and smooth.
    Add 3/4 of the cheese and then stir into milk mixture until cheese is melted.
    Transfer cooked macaroni to lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Pour cheese over macaroni and toss to coat.
    Top with reserved cheese.
    This recipe will serve 4 people.
