Racy Red Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can pineapple sherbet drink, chilled
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cinnamon candies
    1 qt. bottle ginger ale
Preparation
    Heat 1 cup of drink with candies, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in sugar and add to rest of drink.
    Chill. Combine with ginger ale just before serving.
