Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels (48 caramels)
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 c. chopped nuts (or less)
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
    Pour half of mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan (use cookie sheet).
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
