Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    3 well beaten eggs
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar; add eggs.
    Beat until light and fluffy. Add soda, salt and vanilla, then beat in flour.
    Roll thin; cut with cutters.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Add beaten egg whites on top of cookies, then sprinkle with sprinkles and nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
