German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, cooked and sliced (not too thin)
    6 slices bacon
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    Parsley
Preparation
    Slice potatoes in bowl.
    Fry bacon and drain, set aside. Saute onion and celery in bacon grease.
    Pour off drippings leaving 1 Tbsp. in skillet.
    Add remaining ingredients, except bacon and parsley.
    Bring to boil for 1/2 minute to 1 minute. Pour over potatoes and toss.
    Add bacon and parsley.
    Let stand 3 minutes.
