Upside-Down Chili Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. kidney beans
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire
1 c. cooked tomatoes
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Saute meat and onion in shortening.
Add kidney beans, chili powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce and tomatoes.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Pour into casserole dish and top with cornmeal batter made by mixing remaining ingredients.
Bake 20 minutes at 425\u00b0.
