Stuffed Green Peppers With Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. instant rice
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
    1 soup can water
Preparation
    Cut tops off peppers; remove seeds and set tops aside.
    Remove stem.
    Brown beef and remove from heat.
    Add onions, celery, rice, milk, egg, salt, pepper and chili powder to ground beef and mix. Stuff peppers with mixture.
    In pot, combine tomato soup and water. Place pepper tops in bottom of pot.
    Set stuffed peppers on top to prevent from spilling.
    Place pot on stove at medium-high for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until hamburger is done, or simmer for 2 hours.
    Keep warm until served.
