Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 10 medium cucumbers, sliced thin
1 onion, sliced thin
1/4 c. pickling salt
2 c. cider vinegar
2 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. mustard seed
3/4 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation

Wash cucumbers and drain.
Slice thin, as for table use.
Mix all other ingredients and pour over slices.
Mix together lightly. Place in glass jars and refrigerate.
Can be eaten after 24 hours.
Nice and crispy.
