Strawberry Jello Figs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 c. peeled and sliced figs
6 c. sugar
4 small or 2 large strawberry Jell-O
1 pkg. Sure-Jell

Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients together and let set 1 hour or more. Cook slowly and boil 20 minutes. Add the Sure-Jell and cook 2 minutes longer.
Put in sterile jars and seal.
Tastes and looks like strawberry preserves.
