Chili Stuffed Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. sirloin steak (2 inches thick)
1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeno peppers
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
cilantro sprigs (optional)
Preparation

Cut a pocket in steak by making a horizontal cut through the center of the steak parallel to the surface of the meat, about 1-inch from each side.
Combine cheese, garlic and chili powder. Stuff mixture evenly into pocket of steak.
Close with picks. Place on grid over medium-low coals.
Cover grill.
Cook 30 to 36 minutes for rare to medium.
Cool to slice crosswise.
