Bing Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can Bing cherries
    1 (16 oz.) can chunk pineapple, drained (save enough juice to dip bananas)
    2 boxes cherry jello
    8 oz. cream cheese
    2 bananas
Preparation
    Use fruit juice and water to make 6 cups of liquid.
    Heat until boiling.
    Dissolve jello.
    Add cream cheese to hot mixture until dissolved.
    Dip bananas in pineapple juice to prevent darkening.
    Add a pinch of salt, pineapple chunks and bananas to cooled jello.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch dish and refrigerate.
