Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. candied fruit
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 large jar cherries, drained
    2 c. walnuts, chopped
    2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 box raisins
    4 c. plain flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    3 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening, 4 eggs and applesauce, then the remaining items and mix all together well.
    Pour into large tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until done.
