Popcorn Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. unsalted popcorn
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
3 egg whites
1 c. powdered sugar (may use 1/2 c.)
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Chop popcorn finely and mix with nuts.
Beat egg whites in a separate bowl until foamy.
Gradually add sugar and continue beating until egg whites form soft peaks.
Add vanilla and beat well.
Fold popcorn and nut mixture into egg whites.
Drop by half teaspoons onto lightly oiled cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 300\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Transfer to cooling rack immediately.
Each cookie contains approximately 20 calories.
