Crab Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    slivered almonds
    2 (8 oz.) cartons crab or imitation crab
    1/4 c. sherry
    1 c. half and half
    1 small jar pimento (optional)
    8 oz. pkg. linguini noodles, broken in pieces or thin egg noodles
    1/4 lb. Velveeta
    1/4 lb. butter
Preparation
    Marinate crab in sherry.
    Cook noodles al dente and drain. In double boiler or microwave, cook cheese, half and half and butter together until smooth.
    Mix crab into sauce; stir into noodles (add pimento).
    Place in buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole. Top with almonds and dot with butter.
    Cover and bake 20 minutes at 325\u00b0 just until bubbly.
