Scotch Shortbread Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 sticks butter
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. unsifted regular flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour, a little at a time, and mix well. Roll into 2 rolls, thick enough to shape cookie. Leave in refrigerator overnight. Cut into 1/4-inch slices when dough is warm enough to slice.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until slightly brown. Very good.
