Sunday Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 cubed steaks
    flour and pepper (to dredge)
    1 small can mushroom pieces with juice
    1 envelope onion mushroom soup mix
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 can beef gravy
    1 can water
Preparation
    Dredge steaks with flour and pepper; brown lightly in hot oil. Place in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with dry soup mix.
    Add mushrooms and liquid; top with sliced onion.
    Mix gravy and water; pour over all.
    Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
