Boiled-Fried Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    1 stick butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and slice into 1-inch thick pieces.
    Boil until potatoes begin to turn tender; drain.
    Melt the butter over medium heat in skillet.
    Place potatoes in skillet with salt and pepper. Fry until golden brown.
