Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
4 c. chopped apples
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Mix in eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients (optional) or mix together.
Add to first mixture. Fold in pecans and apples.
Bake in a 13 x 8-inch greased pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
