Hot Dog S'Mores - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. frankfurters
    2 c. Pillsbury mashed potato flakes
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    4 to 5 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Combine 1/4 cup potato flakes with butter.
    Split franks in half lengthwise.
    Place half of franks on cookie sheet, cut side up with sides touching.
    Prepare 4 servings mashed potatoes as directed on package, decreasing water to 3/4 cup.
    Add egg.
    Spread potatoes over franks; top with 2 or 3 slices cheese.
    Cover with remaining franks.
    Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle with buttered potato flakes.
    Secure with wooden picks.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes until golden brown.
    Makes 6 servings.
