6-Weeks Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. All-Bran cereal
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Pour 2 cups bran cereal in large mixing bowl; add boiling water and stir. Let stand to cool. Add sugar and oil. Stir in eggs. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk. Add other cup bran last and raisins if using. Spray muffin tins. Bake at 400\u00b0 about 18 minutes.
