Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except vanilla and bring to a boil. Cook to soft-ball stage (238\u00b0 to 240\u00b0) on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Keep stirring until nuts no longer come to the top of the mixture. Quickly drop by spoonful on waxed paper. When cool, remove and store.
