Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. unpeeled, medium-size fresh shrimp
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. linguine (uncooked)
    8 cloves garlic, minced
    1 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. white wine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Peel and devein shrimp; set aside.
    Cook linguine according to package directions; keep warm.
    Cook garlic in butter and wine in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until tender.
    Add shrimp and cook over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, until shrimp turns pink.
    Add salt and pepper and spoon mixture over hot linguine.
    Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.
