Ranch Pudding With Whipped Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. whiskey, rum or brandy
    1/4 c. butter (unsalted), melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    1 c. raisins and/or dates
    1/2 c. walnut or pecan halves
    whipped cream with vanilla
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 9-inch dish.
    Sprinkle 1 cup of chopped nuts and raisins on the bottom of pan.
    Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, whiskey, melted butter, vanilla and salt in bowl and blend well.
    Pour over nuts and raisins.
    Arrange nut halves on top. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake for 25 minutes.
    Serve with flavored whipped cream.
