Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 white or yellow cake mix
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (19 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 sticks butter or oleo, melted
    walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Spread cherry pie filling over bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Cover with pineapple and juice. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over mixture of fruits, but do not stir.
    Cover evenly with melted butter and sprinkle with nuts (as many as you like). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
    Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip, if desired.
